What is Lapar App?
Lapar App is a Malaysian food marketplace that connects customers with local restaurants, cafes, food trucks, hawker stalls, and home-based food businesses. With Lapar, you can browse menus, place orders, and enjoy food via delivery or self-pickup β all from your mobile device.

Is Lapar App free to use?
Yes! Lapar App is completely free to download and use for customers.
What is the difference between Lapar and other food delivery platforms?
Lapar focuses on empowering local and independent food vendors β including food trucks, hawkers, and home cooks β not just large restaurant chains. Lapar supports multi-vendor food court orders, transparent pricing, direct merchant contact, and flexible delivery methods, offering a more community-driven and affordable experience.

How do I place an order?
Itβs simple:
- Open the app and browse food vendors near you
- Select your items and customize them if needed
- Choose a delivery partner (if available)
- Proceed to checkout and choose your payment method
- Confirm your order and track it live in the app
What payment methods are supported?
We accept:
- FPX (online banking)
- Credit/Debit cards
- eWallets (Touch βn Go, Boost, GrabPay)
- Cash on Delivery (available with selected vendors)
Can I schedule an order in advance?
Yes, you can schedule future delivery or pickup depending on the vendorβs settings.

Does Lapar offer delivery?
Yes! Lapar provides various delivery rider options to ensure your food reaches you quickly and efficiently, even in less-covered areas.
How can I track my order?
Real-time tracking is available in the app under the βMy Ordersβ section. Youβll be notified when the vendor starts preparing your food and when the rider picks it up.
What happens after I place a delivery order?
After checkout, the system will look for an available rider.
π Your food will not be prepared immediately β the vendor will only start preparing your order once a rider has accepted the delivery job. This ensures food freshness and avoids delays from unassigned deliveries.
What if my order is delayed or missing?
You can reach out to the merchant using the in-app chat, or contact Lapar support via the Help section.
How does self-pickup work in Lapar?
When you select self-pickup, the vendor will prepare your food and notify you via the Lapar App when itβs ready for collection β so thereβs no need to wait at the shop.
What is special about the Food Truck Menu in Lapar?
Lapar has a dedicated Food Truck Menu that showcases mobile vendors operating in real-time. You can:
- Discover active food trucks near your area
- View time-limited or rotating menus
- Pre-order for pickup or request delivery (if available)
New food trucks are added regularly β so you might be surprised to find one near you!
What is the Food Court Menu in Lapar?
The Food Court Menu lets you order from multiple vendors in a single checkout and one delivery β just like a real food court experience. Mix and match different cuisines, drinks, and desserts without paying separate delivery charges.
Are menu prices the same as in-store?
Yes! Lapar does not mark up any food prices.
All menu prices are set by the merchants and reflect the same pricing as in-shop β so you always get fair and transparent value.
Can I contact the merchant directly if I have questions?
Yes. Lapar is built on transparency.
If you have questions about the menu, special requests, or your order, you can contact the merchant directly. Their phone number is listed on their profile in the app, allowing for direct communication.
π° Cancellation, Refund & Walletβ
What is Laparβs cancellation and refund policy?
To cancel your order, please contact the merchant directly. If the cancellation is approved:
- The merchant will notify Lapar to process your refund.
- The refund amount will be credited into your Lapar Credit Wallet, which you can use for future orders.
β οΈ Note: Orders already being prepared or delivered may not be eligible for cancellation.
